The event

Driver training on the popular race track in Lorraine. Similar to Anneau du Rhin, the track is surrounded by greenery, but offers more generous run-off areas and even more bends in all radii. On this circuit, good handling is more important than engine power. This makes it an ideal training track for perfect cornering technique. There is no pit lane here, but plenty of space for trailers too. In contrast to most other circuits, camping or overnight stays in motorhomes are also permitted here.

Driver safety training open to a maximum of 24 vehicles of all makes per group. Only road-legal and insured vehicles.

There will be 2 groups riding alternately so that there is enough riding time. No race track experience required. Newcomers are welcome.

Participation fee

Club members: 360,- Euro
without membership 400,- Euro

Two drivers can share a vehicle at no extra cost. Total driving time: 3.5 hours divided into 45 min turns. Maximum 24 vehicles in a group.

Catering

We will have a tarte flambée van on the premises. There will be a voucher for each driver. We ourselves offer free cold drinks and coffee. There will also be a moderately priced petrol station for our cars on the premises.

Procedure

We recommend travelling the day before. This time we are staying at the Brit Hotel Luneville, about 15 minutes from the route.

There are also several other hotels in the area. The previously recommended hotel Logis Le Relais Vosgien has become too expensive. Distribution of the starting documents for those who are already travelling. Dinner together in the hotel in a convivial atmosphere.

On the driving day: Meeting at the race track from 8:00 am. Participants who were not present the evening before will now receive their start number. Transponders are not required in Chenevieres.

Guided laps are driven in the first stint of each group. Instructors are on site throughout the day to ride along or offer further guided laps as required. We use special helmets with integrated walkie-talkies for communication during the ride.

Volume

Note: Maximum static volume 95dB. Normally there are no problems with volume in Chenevieres as long as a normal exhaust system is fitted. Nevertheless, excessively loud vehicles can be excluded beforehand.
